Dr Mimi Ferrer
Osteopath
I love working with people to help them achieve their functional and health-related goals. Whether that's helping them recover from injury, managing chronic pain or supporting them through their health journey, I work closely with patients to develop a management plan that focuses on their specific needs and goals. I love helping people manage their pain, empowering them with the knowledge to understand the nature of their injury and providing them with the tools to create positive change in their lives.
I love treating a range of patients from diverse backgrounds, of different ages and through important stages of their life.
I enjoy treating with babies and working with new parents and their new family dynamic! When treating babies, I use very gentle techniques and work to establish comfort, symmetry and balance for the baby.
I also work a lot with pre and post-natal patients helping them to adapt to the physical, hormonal and emotional changes the body goes through.
When working with adults, I use a variation of structural and indirect techniques including manual therapy, joint manipulation, dry needling, and myofascial cupping, I thrive on helping clients live their best life.
I am a university lecturer of Osteopathy at Victoria University on the days I’m not in private practice.
When I’m not at work, you can find me walking my chihuahuas, catching up with friends or working the land on our bush block in northern Victoria.
